Connecting AM loop aerial

For AM (medium wave) radio listening it is necessary to connect the AM loop antenna which is supplied with your unit. Press down the two plastic tabs on the AM loop anntenna socket on the back of the main unit. Care- fully insert the two bare ends of the wire into the holes and then lift the tabs back up to secure the wires.

The placement of the antenna may need to be adjusted according to the direction and strength of the signal from the desired AM radio station. Try to place the antenna away from direct sources of interference (e.g. com- puter monitors, light dimmers, etc). You may need to rotate the antenna for optimum reception.
