Sensor switches

This hob is equipped with electronic sensor switches which react to finger contact.

To operate a cooking zone, touch the relevant sensor. Each time you touch a sensor, an audible tone sounds.

Take care to keep the control panel clean and do not place anything on top of it. The sensor switches may fail to react or they could mistake the article or any dirt for a fingertip contact, thereby activating a function or even causing the hob to switch off automatically (see Safety switch-off.)

Never place hot pans on the sensor switches. The electronic unit underneath could get damaged.
