Safety switch-off if the sensors are covered
Your hob will switch itself off automatically if one or several of the sensor controls remain covered for more than about 10 seconds, for example by finger contact, food boiling over, or by an object such as an oven glove or a tea towel. The residual heat indicator will appear in the display of any cooking zones that are still hot.
Clean the control panel or remove the obstruction.
Switch the hob back on again with the ON/OFF sensor . The cooking zones can now be used again as normal.
