a.ACTIVATING THE BLUETOOTH
You must activate the Bluetooth feature of your phone to establish a Bluetooth connection between your Pocket PC device and other Bluetooth devices.
1.Select Desk…Tools…Control Panel…Connections…Bluetooth…
2.Select the Settings page…Select Bluetooth Active…Select Yes
b.PAIRING TO THE CELLULAR PHONE (not possible while charging)
1.Bring your phone to within about 20 cm from the Supertooth.
2.The Supertooth II is initially off. Turn it on by flipping up the Swivel Arm to the 55º position. The Bluetooth Indicator will glow (blue blink).
3.Simultaneously press the Reject Button and the
Pairing Mode.
4.Select Desk…Tools…Control Panel…Connections…Bluetooth…
5.Select Paired Devices…Press New… then Start to search for devices
Your phone now searches for Bluetooth devices and will display them in the list.
6.Scroll to the name of the device, Supertooth, and then press Pair.
7.Enter “0000” as the Passcode and then press OK.
8.In Paired Devices select Supertooth and Press Edit.
9.Move to the Device Authorized field and select Yes.
10.In Paired Devices select Supertooth…Press Edit…Press Connect.
The Supertooth is paired with your Nokia 9500. An enabled Bluetooth icon will be seen on screen indicating that the Supertooth is linked.
c.ANSWERING/RECEIVING A CALL
When the phone is receiving a call, two dissimilar ring tones will be heard from the phone and then from the Supertooth.
1.When answering is done on the Supertooth (that is, pressing Answer once), audio will be heard on it.
2.When answering is done on the phone, ongoing call will be heard on the phone (not on the Supertooth). But if you wish to hear and transfer the audio to the Supertooth, just press the Answer button once on the Supertooth.
