l The Stop Time Knob is not set ahead to the time you

 

want the Self-Cleaning cycle to stop. See Step 3 in

 

“Setting the

controls” on page 23 for

proper setting

l The oven temoerature seems too low or too high. See “Adjusting the-oven temperature control” on page 14 to adjust oven temperature.

l You did not preheat the oven before baking (if called for in recipe).

l The recipe you are using may need to be altered to improve the taste or appearance of the food.

l You are using a pan that is not the correct type or size. Refer to a reliable cookbook or recipe for recommended pan type and size.

l There is not enough air space around pan when baking. Allow 1% to 2 inches (4-5 cm) of air space on all sides of pan. There must be a minimum space of 1 inch.

l The cooking utensil is too large or too small for the surface unit being used. Pan should be the same size or slightly larger than the surface unit being used.
