4 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button and turn the MULTI JOG control to select and index mark mode.

To register index marks automatically at the beginning of each track, select "Mark:AUTO?". To register index marks every 5 minutes, select "Mark:TIME?".

To register without index marks, select "Mark:OFF?".

5 Within 10 seconds, press the ENTER button.

6 Press zMD REC.

The unit enters the standby mode and waits until CD is displayed.

7 Press the to start recording.

Recording begins.

When all the CDs on the tray finish playing, the recording stops automatically.

When the recording finishes, TOC EDIT is displayed and the data concerning the contents of the recording are registered.

To add index marks during recording

Press the ENTER button at the desired point during recording.

The recording level

This unit sets the recording level automatically.

NOTE

•There may be a case where index marks are not registered accurately even if the AUTO MARK is selected.

•You can not register index marks without registering track numbers.

AUTO MARK (Auto mark) function

-When recording from a CD with the CDMD button, the index mark information recorded on the CD is copied as it is.

-When recording CDs or other sources, if there is a blank section lasting more than 3 seconds, an index mark is automatically registered when a sound signal is input in the following time.
