For best results, some recipes call for different cook powers. Each percentage stands for a different level of cook power; i.e., 100% equals full power. The lower the cook power, the slower the cooking.

1.TOUCH COOK TIME pad.

2.TURN to time and PRESS. TURN to set cook time and PRESS.

3.TURN to power and PRESS. TURN to cook power and PRESS.

4.TURN to Start and PRESS.

Many microwave cookbook recipes tell you by number, percent or name which cook power to use. The following chart gives the percentage of cook power each number stands for, and the cook power name usually used. It also tells you when to use each cook power. Follow recipe or food package instructions if available.

NOTE: Refer to a reliable cookbook for cook times. The maximum power for this oven is 1000 watts.

		dishes, pudding, and custards
		• Cooking nonstirrable casseroles, such as lasagna
