MANTENIMIENTO

ACEITE DEL MOTOR

Realice el mantenimiento del motor con el motor

apagado, los cables de las buj{as desconectados y la PTO desembragada.

DESPUES DE ClNCO (5) HORAS

Mientras el motor est,1 caliente:

1.Quite el tapon de drenaje D y drene el carter. Deseche el aceite usado de acuerdo con los

requisitos locales.

2.Limpie la tapa y vuelva a colocarla.

3.Cambie el filtro de aceite.

4.Llene el carter con aceite nuevo hasta la marca de Ilenado. No Ilene excesivamente el deposito.

Consulte las especificaciones del aceite en el manual del motor.

DIARIAMENTE

1.Revise el nivel de aceite con la varilla indicadora.

2.Si necesita agregar aceite, use un aceite nuevo de la viscosidad y grado adecuados. Consulte las especificaciones del aceite en el manual del motor. No Ilene excesivamente el deposito.

3.Coloque la varilla de nivel en su lugar antes de arrancar el motor.

CAMBIOS PERIODICOS DE ACEITE

. Consulte la tabla de mantenimiento de la

p_igina 22 para ver los intervalos de cambio

del aceite y del filtro despu6s del periodo de acondicionamiento.

CAPACIDAD DEL DEPOSITO DE ACEITE

El motor sin filtro tiene una capacidad aproximada de 1-7/8 cuartos (60 onzas; 1.8 litros).

El motor equipado con un filtro de aceite tiene una capacidad aproximada de 2 cuartos (64 onzas; 1.9 litros).

Use un aceite detergente de alta calidad clasificado "Para servicio SF, SG, SH, SJ"o mejor.

Use el aceite de grado y viscosidad SAE recomendados para la temperatura de arranque, de acuerdo con la Figura 1.

. Para el primer cambio de aceite siga las instrucciones que aparecen arriba.

BUJAS

Desmonte cada bujia y compruebe su estado.

-Puede verificar su buena condici6n por la presencia de una capa ligera de color gris o crema en la buj{a.

Una capa de color blanco con burbujas indica sobrecalentamiento. Un recubrimiento negro indica una mezcla de combustible "excesivamente rica". Ambas condiciones pueden set el resultado de un filtro de aire obstruido o del ajuste inapropiado del carburador.

No limpie con chorro de arena ni con cepillo de alambre, ni intente reparar, una buj{a en malas condiciones. Obtendr_i los mejores resultados con una bujia nueva.

-Calibre las bujias de la manera que se especifica en el manual del motor.
