SERVICE INTERVAL CHART

Service Intervals

Please use the following timetables to perform routine maintenance on your machine. Service procedures included in this manual but not on this chart are to be performed on an as needed basis.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! If you operate mower in extreme heat, dust or other severe conditions, service more often than shown below.

Before Each Use

Check fuel level.

 

Clean air intake screen.

 

Test safety systems.

 

Check tire pressure.

 

Check/tighten loose hardware.

 

Check engine oil level.

 

 

After First 2 Hours

Check blade belt tension.

 

 

After First 5 Hours

Change engine oil.

 

 

Every 8 Hours

Check oil level.

 

Check brakes.

 

Check tire pressure.

 

 

Every 25 Hours

Sharpen/replace blades.

 

Lubricate front wheel spindles.

 

Lubricate wheel bearings.

 

Check battery and clean battery terminals.

 

Change engine oil when operating under heavy load or in high

 

temperatures.*

 

Clean/Service air cleaner elements.*

 

Check spindle brake measurement

 

 

Every 50 Hours

Change engine oil.*

 

 

Every 100 Hours

Check/tighten loose hardware.

 

Adjust drive belt tension.

 

Replace oil filter.

 

Clean/Service air cleaner elements.*

 

Replace spark plug.

 

Replace fuel filter.

 

 

Every Season

Adjust blade belt tension.

 

Check spindle brake measurement

 

 

Before Storage

Check/tighten loose hardware.

 

Lubricate front wheel spindles.

 

Lubricate wheel bearings.

 

Clean battery terminals.
