Cleaning the UltraPure™ Canister

To clean the UltraPure™ filter cartridge, remove the access lid and remove the E-Z Lock Filter cartridge by twisting the cartridge ¼ turn counterclockwise to its stop, being careful not to overturn the filter. Then lift the filter out of its canister. Clean the cartridge with a high-pressure garden hose. Every other cleaning, soak the cartridge in a filter cleaning solution, rinse it thoroughly, and reinstall it. Replace the access lid or cover. Exit the “Standby” mode by pressing Dimension Spas ICON logo for 5-seconds.

Cleaning the E-Z Lock Filter Screen and the Inner Filter Screen

These filter screens are located at the bottom of the UltraPure™ canister and do not normally require any maintenance. However, if your spa is telling you to clean your spa’s filter more often than is normal, or if the spa is reporting “low-flow-issues”, you may want to consider cleaning these items also.

To clean them, first locate the E-Z Lock Filter Screen at the base of the

UltraPure™ filter canister.

Be sure to remove any floating debris BEFORE removing the E-Z Lock Filter Screen. You do not want anything to go down the opening and get into the circulation pump.

Remove the E-Z Lock Filter Screen by inserting the tip of a flat-blade screwdriver into the slot of the E-Z Lock Filter Screen as shown, and gently apply outward pressure until that catch releases. Then lift to remove.

Remove the Inner Filter Screen from the E-Z Lock Filter Screen and clean both items with water using pressure from the

“inside” of each item.

After they are both clean, replace the Inner Filter Screen inside the E-Z Lock

Filter Screen. Be sure to line-up the grooves and then press snugly into position.

To complete the installation, press the E-Z Lock Filter Screen (with the Inner

Filter Screen inside) back on to the base of the UltraPure™ filter canister.

Finally, replace filter cartridge and lid.

Exit the “Standby” mode by pressing Dimension Spas ICON logo for 5-seconds.
