22	1 Getting to know your TravelMate

Audio

The computer comes with 16-bit high-fidelity AC’97 stereo audio. The built-in sensitive microphone and dual stereo speakers are easy to access.

There are audio ports on the left panel of the computer. See “Left view” on page 4 for more information on external audio devices.

Adjusting the volume

Adjusting the volume on the computer is easy with a rotary volume control knob on the left panel. Turn the knob to the left to increase the volume; turn it to the right to decrease the volume.
