Online services
There are three ways to acces s A c er for technical support and inform ation:
• Internet service worldwide, visit (www.acer.com)
• Online service in the United States and C anada, call
1-800-816-2237
• Technical support numbers in various countries
You can view a list of technical support numbers by clicking on Start, Settings,
Control Panel, then double-click on System. Click on the Support Information
button.

Before you call

Please have the following information available when you call Acer for online
service, and please be at your com puter when you call. With your support, we can
reduce the amount of time a call takes and help solve your problems efficiently.
1. If there are error messages or beeps reported by your compu te r, write them
down as they appear on the screen (or the number and sequence in the case of
beeps).
2. If you are able to run the PC-Doctor diagnostic tests, locate the log file by
selecting Windows, Test Log in the PC-Doctor me nu bar.
3. If you haven’t registered your notebook computer, you will be require d to
register during your first call to Acer. You are required to provide the
following information:
