Step 7. Install Carrier into C-Size VXI Mainframe
WARNING To avoid possible electrical shock, make certain that power is removed from the VXI mainframe, all field wiring, and external devices connected to the VXI mainframe.
3. Seat the Carrier into the mainframe by pushing in the extraction levers.
1.Set the Carrier Extraction Levers out.
2. Slide the Carrier into any slot (except Slot 0) until the backplane connectors touch.
Note: Do not push on the front panel of the E2251A Carrier. Doing so may bend the front panel.
4.Tighten the top and bottom screws
to secure the Carrier to the mainframe.
