6.4Creating a new directory
From the product directory, press the “Options” softkey and select “Create directory”, confirm using the key, then name your new directory.You can create up to 13 new directories.You can delete only those
directories that you created, by selecting “Delete directory”.
6.5Assigning a ringtone to a directory
Select a file from the product directory, press the “Options” softkey and select “Dir. ringtone”. This ring tone can be one of your video tones.
When you receive a call from a contact classified in the product directory, the ringtone will be the one assigned to that directory.
6.6Assigning an image, an animation or a video to a file
Select a file from the product directory, press the “Options” softkey and select “Image”.
When you receive a call, the picture, animation or video clip that you have chosen will be displayed on the screen. It is possible to assign either an image or a video but not both for the same contact.
6.7Privacy
The data of your directory can be protected (see option “Privacy” page 50).
“Activate” this option in order to protect your diary or directory data.This option is useful if you use PC synchronisation.

7 Messages: SMS, MMS ..............................
From your telephone, you can read, write, send messages and share them with other devices:“Text/SMS”, “Multimedia/MMS”.
Multimedia messages are messages whereby you can send video clips, images, photos, animations, sounds, voice messages (or “Voice/Vox MMS” that allows you to send a voice memo as a message) to other compatible mobiles and
The multimedia/MMS function can only be used if the service is provided by your operator, and if your contract includes the MMS option and if all the parameters for MMS have been entered (see page 40).
To write a digit or a number in an SMS, hold down the corresponding key ; to exit the SMS mode,
hold down the key.
To access the messages from the main screen, press the top of the key (1).You can also access the menu
by pressing the key and selecting “Messages” with the navigation key and then confirming with the key.
