Transparent Bridging is the packet service of your choice as it:
Is platform and OS independent
Is true multiprotocol
Has no performance limitations in the Alcatel implementation
Has almost no constraints on the number of attached users.
The AST350i transparent bridge can be used in combination with a PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) client installed on your PC.
The resulting Bridged PPPoE packet service provides similar dialin experience as found on pointtopoint connections.
