Wake-on-LAN

The Wake-on-LAN feature enables the network adapter to wake up from a low-power mode when the adapter receives a network wake-up frame.

To enable or disable the Wake-on-LAN feature, do the following:

1.Access the Advanced Properties.

See “Accessing Advanced Properties” on page 60.

2.Select Wake-on-LANin the Property box.

The Wake-on-LAN page is displayed as shown in Figure 39.

3.Select one of the following options:

Enable — The adapter to wake up from a low-power mode when receiving a network wake-up frame. This is the default setting.

Disable — The adapter stays in a low-power mode.

4.Click OK.
