Unpacking the Switch

To unpack an AT-GS900/16 or an AT-GS900/24 switch, perform the following procedure:

1. Remove all components from the shipping package.

Note

Store the packaging material in a safe location. You must use the original shipping material if you need to return the unit to Allied Telesis.

2.Place the switch on a level, secure surface.

3.Ensure the following hardware components are included in your switch package. If any item is missing or damaged, contact your Allied Telesis sales representative for assistance.

ˆOne AT-GS900/16 or AT-GS900/24 Fanless Gigabit Ethernet switch

ˆTwo rack/wall mounting brackets

ˆEight flathead Phillips screws for mounting brackets to the switch

ˆFour screws and anchors for attaching the switch to the wall

ˆFour screws for attaching the switch to the rack

ˆFour self-adhesive rubber feet

ˆAC power cord
