Gebruiksaanwijzing:

 

1. Spanning kiezen, op notebook aansluiten

 

Kies de juiste spanningsinstelling en notebookadaptertip

 

voor uw notebookcomputer aan de hand van de

 

'Compatibiliteitsgids'. Schuif de

 

spanningskeuzeschakelaar van de UPA met een pen naar

20V

de gewenste spanning. Bevestig de juiste

19V

notebookadaptertip aan het uitgangssnoer van de UPA en

18V

16V

sluit hem dan aan op het ingangscontact van uw

15V

notebook.

12V

Opmerking: Wanneer u de spanningskeuzeschakelaar verzet terwijl apparatuur wordt gevoed, wordt de UPA uitgeschakeld. Als dit gebeurt, ontkoppelt u de UPA van de voedingsbron. Schuif de spanningskeuzeschakelaar naar de gewenste spanningsinstelling. Wacht 10 seconden, en sluit de voedingsbron weer aan.

Opmerking: Bewaar de extra tips die bij de UPA worden geleverd om ze mogelijk later te gebruiken.

2. Ingangskabel bevestigen

Voor gebruik in een auto of vliegtuig: sluit de ingangskabel VLIEG/AUTO aan op de bovenkant van de UPA. Opmerking: de AUTO-tip wordt over de VLIEG-tip geklemd. Druk op het lipje op de VLIEG-tip om ze van elkaar af te trekken.

Voor gebruik met een wandstopcontact: sluit de

wisselstroom-ingangskabel aan op de zijkant van de

UPA. Bevestig de juiste adapter voor internationale stopcontacten van APC (indien nodig) aan de wisselstroom-ingangskabel voor het betreffende soort stopcontact. De UPA kan voeding van stopcontacten van 100-127 V~ en 220-240 V~ gebruiken.

Sluit de ingangskabel aan op de stroombron. Het witte LED-lampje van de UPA gaat branden, en de eenheid verschaft onmiddellijk voeding.

Attentie: Het is normaal dat de UPA zeer warm aanvoelt wanneer hij gebruikt wordt met grote notebookcomputers of wanneer hij gedurende lange tijd op een warme plaats wordt gebruikt. Om schade te voorkomen, wordt de UPA automatisch uitgeschakeld wanneer hij te warm wordt. Als dit gebeurt, start de UPA automatisch weer op wanneer hij is afgekoeld. Laat hem afkoelen voordat u hem aanraakt. Voor optimale werking dient u de UPA altijd met voldoende ventilatie te gebruiken.
