The Flasher consists of two lights that flash when the telephone rings. The brightest light (white light which is located on the left), does not operate when the Q90D is powered by batteries.

2.Press ESC to finish, or press Return to continue to International (speed).

In the United States, text messages are sent at the speed described as 45 Baud. Some other countries use 50 Baud. While the Q90D can be set to operate at this International speed, it automatically receives either speed. Auto Return places carriage returns in the proper locations of the printout so that text moves to a new line each time a different speaker’s words are printing. Some printers require this to retain proper formatting. This does not change the way words appear on the display of the Q90D.

1.Press Spacebar to turn Auto Return ON or OFF.

2.Press ESC to finish, or press Return to continue to Repeat Key.

Repeat Key

Factory setting is [ON]

When this function is ON and you hold down a key, the Q90D repeats the key until you release it.

1.Press Spacebar to turn Repeat Key ON or OFF.

2.Press ESC to finish, or press Return to continue to Mixed Case.

Form Feed

Factory setting is [OFF]

When the Q90D is connected to an Ameriphone Portable Printer, your TTY can be set up to send a signal to let the Printer know when to move to the next page.

Mixed Case

Factory setting is [OFF]

When Mixed Case is ON, the messages you are sending display in lower case text on your screen and the messages you are receiving appear in upper case text. This makes it easier to follow the conversation. When Mixed Case is OFF, all messages are in capital letters.
