Los siguientes indicadores y controles se encuentran en las partes superior, derecha, posterior o inferior de su Q90D.

Parte superior:

1Teclas de Funciones Especiales. Las teclas 1, Q, A y Z se usan para funciones especiales. Cada una de estas teclas, cuando se usan en combinación con otras teclas, envían un mensaje como se muestra en el frente del Q90D a la izquierda de estas teclas, tal como “Hello GA”.

2Teclas de Funciones Principales. Las teclas de funciones principales activan las funciones primarias, tales como marcación, rellamada y envío de mensajes. Las teclas F1 a F13, se describen en la sección de Funciones Principales de esta guía en la página 14.

3RING FLASHER. Ambas luces incandescentes roja y blanca parpadean cuando el Q90D recibe llamadas entrantes. Solamente la luz roja parpadea cuando el Q90D está alimentado por pilas.

4INDICADOR HI-SPEED™. La

transmisión Hi-Speed se usa cuando se está comunicando con otro TTY Ameriphone que posee esta capacidad. Si ambos TTY tienen la capacidad de Hi-Speed y están en modo Hi-Speed, la luz roja indicadora de Hi-Speed se enciende y su llamada continúa a una velocidad mayor. Si no, el Q90D usa automáticamente la velocidad de transmisión normal.

5Indicador intermitente CELL. Esta luz roja parpadea para anunciar las llamadas entrantes cuando el Q90D está en modo STANDBY y conectado a un teléfono móvil o celular.

6Pantalla ajustable. La pantalla muestra la información almacenada y el estado actual de las llamadas (ejemplo: timbrando, ocupado, etc.) y conversación.

7Indicador de Estado SIGNAL. Esta luz roja indica que hay alguna actividad en la línea telefónica, tal como conversación,TTY o algún tipo de sonido.

8Indicador de MIC. Esta luz verde indicadora se enciende cuando el micrófono del VCO está activado.

9Tecla ESC. Esta tecla se usa para salir de los modos Dial, Save y Review. No hace que el Q90D cuelgue si usted está en línea.

JTecla Backspace. Esta tecla le permite borrar errores al escribir en el teclado.

KTecla Return. Utilice la tecla Return durante la configuración y cuando esté creando mensajes para guardarlos en la memoria.

LTecla Power. Esta tecla ENCIENDE el Q90D. Para APAGAR el Q90D, presione las teclas CTRL y Power al mismo tiempo.

MTeclas de Flechas. En modo Dial, las teclas de Flechas le permiten desplazarse hacia abajo y hacia arriba las listas del directorio telefónico de su Q90D. Cuando no esté en modo Dial, la tecla de la flecha izquierda lo lleva al modo Review y le permite desplazarse hacia arriba o hacia abajo con la tecla de la flecha derecha para ver una conversación.También puede usar las teclas de flecha para leer los mensajes almacenados en el contestador telefónico integrado y las conversaciones guardadas.

NTecla SK. Esta tecla funciona solamente en línea. Cuando está presionada, envía el mensaje SK (“Stop Keying”), haciendo saber a la otra persona que usted está listo(a) para terminar la conversación. Presione la
