Conventions d’utilisation des appareils TTY

Voici quelques abréviations courantes (dans

l’usage anglais) qui vous éviteront de taper de longues phrases.

1.GA signifie « à vous » (GO AHEAD). Quand vous avez fini de taper votre phrase ou votre message, appuyez sur la touche GA ou tapez GA pour dire à votre correspondant que c’est son tour de répondre. Par exemple : « C’EST JEANNE. JE PEUX T’AIDER? GA ». Quand vous voyez la mention GA à la fin d’une phrase ou d’un message que vous recevez, c’est votre tour de répondre.

2.La lettre Q (question) est souvent utilisée à la place d’un point d’interrogation, par exemple : « COMMENT ÇA VA Q. »

3.SK signifie « arrêter de taper » (STOP KEYING). Appuyez sur la touche SK ou tapez SK quand vous êtes prêt(e) à arrêter la conversation.

4.Vous pouvez taper GA SK pour dire poliment au revoir et pour donner à votre correspondant la possibilité de conclure avant de raccrocher, par exemple :

« CONTENT D’AVOIR COMMUNIQUÉ AVEC TOI. GA SK ».

5.Tapez SKSK pour indiquer que vous raccrochez, par exemple : « AU REVOIR SKSK. »
