6Being careful not to touch the sharp edges, pull out the metal access port cover behind the expansion slot you want to use, and set the access port cover aside.

1 Press apart the two levers that are next to the card access port to release the access port cover.

2Slide the access port cover out and away from the access port.

7Remove the card from its static-proof bag.

Hold the card by its edges to avoid touching the connector.
