The Sound Parameters

Parameter Description

Volume 32 levels of volume (0-31).

Bass 10 levels. Decreases or Increases the low frequencies.

Treble 10 levels. Decreases or Increases the high frequencies.

Balance 10 levels. Favors the right or left channel of the Stereo signal

Bass Boost 10 levels. Increases the very low frequencies

Reset button Readjusts all settings to their default values

15.2 Play Mode Settings

If you would like the Gmini™ 402 to play through an entire folder

of songs, play songs at random (shufﬂ e), or any of the other

playing options, you can set these parameters in the PlayMode

settings.

• Click on STOP/ESC to return to the Gmini™ 402 main menu and click

on Setup. Or, while listening to a song click the LEFT function button

Setup.

• Once in the Setup screen, move over to PlayMode and click again on

ENTER.

• Highlight one of the ﬁ ve PlayModes

and click on ENTER to check that

option.

• With the Repeat & Shufﬂ e setting,

choose if the songs are to be played

in order, repeated or shufﬂ ed.

• Picture Pause sets the amount of

time paused between pictures in the

slideshow mode. See the Photo chapter for more details.

Play Mode

Gmini™ 402 is currently playing from a Playlist

Folder: Play all tracks in the current directory

All: Play all tracks on Gmini™ 402

Single: Play a single track then stop

Queue: User can queue the next track to be played †

Scan: Gmini™ 402 plays ﬁ rst 15 seconds of each track††

†Queue Mode: While the current song is playing, click on Navigate, ﬁ nd the next song you want

to play, then click Play. This is your queued song. You can only queue one song at a time. See the

Playlist section to prepare multiple songs to play. Once the current track is ﬁ nished playing, your

queued track will be played. If you do not queue another track at this time, the Gmini

™

402 will

play the next song in the directory.

††Scan Mode: Each track in the directory is played for 15 seconds. This allows a quick sample

of each song. If you want to play the whole song, click on the Play button during those ﬁ rst 15

seconds. The Gmini

™

402 will then revert to folder mode and play the rest of the songs in the

folder without scanning.
