SB SATA Conguration
This item alows you to set the SATA conguration.
OnChip SATA Channel [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the Serial ATA channel.
Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
The following items appear only when you set the OnChip SATA Channel to [Enabled].

SATA Port1 - Port 4 [AHCI]

Allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[IDE] Set to [IDE] when you want to use the Serial ATA hard disk
drives as Parallel ATA physical storage devices.
[RAID] Set to [RAID] when you want to create a RAID conguration
from the SATA hard disk drives.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to
use the AHCI (Advabced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI
allows the onboard storage driver to enable advanced Serial
ATA features that increases storage performance on random
workloads by allowing the drive to internally optimize the order
of commands.

SATA Port 5 - Port 6 [AHCI]

Allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[IDE] Set to [IDE] when you want to use the Serial ATA hard disk
drives as Parallel ATA physical storage devices.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to
use the AHCI (Advabced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI
allows the onboard storage driver to enable advanced Serial
ATA features that increases storage performance on random
workloads by allowing the drive to internally optimize the order
of commands.
You can only set SATA Port5-Port6 to [IDE] if Port1-Port4 is set to [IDE].

S.M.A.R.T. Status Check [Enabled]

S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a
monitor system. When read/write of your hard disk errors occur, this feature
allows the hard disk to report warning messages during the POST.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]

SATA ESP on PORT1-6 [Disabled]

Allows you to set SATA port on PORT1-6 to external SATA port.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
