6 Remote Control Buttons

1 PAUSE/STEP Key

Pressing the PAUSE/STEP () key will freeze play at its current posi- tion and sound will stop. If a video disc, the image will freeze on the screen. Pressing the pause key more than once will advance the image on screen frame by frame. Press the button to resume normal play. Please refer to page 29 for corresponding buttons on the player.

2 STOP Key

Pressing the STOP () key will cause play to cease immediately and re- turns to power-on welcome screen, although the disc will continue spin- ning at normal speed and draw the same amount of power. Please refer to page 21 for corresponding buttons on the player.

3 PLAY Key

Press the PLAY () key to play a disc. Please refer to page 20 for corre- sponding buttons on the player.

4 SEARCH Key

Press the or to fast forward / reverse at twice normal speed through the program. Pressing these keys twice or three times will increase search speed to 4x and 8x, respectively. To restore speed to normal, press the PLAY key. Please refer to page 21 for corresponding buttons on the player.
