Answering Calls
1.Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off, incoming calls go to voicemail.)
2.When a call comes in, answer the call by pressing 
.
Depending on your settings, your PCS Phone notifies you of incoming calls in the following ways:
The phone rings or vibrates.
The LED flashes.
The backlight illuminates.
The screen displays an incoming call message.
If available, the phone number of the caller is displayed.
If the phone number is in your internal Phone Book, the Phone Book entry’s name is displayed.
The following options are also displayed. To select an option, press
the corresponding 
:
Mute to mute the phone’s microphone. The caller cannot hear you or any sound from your side, while you can still hear his or her voice.
Silent to prevent the other end from hearing tones if any key is pressed during a call.
Send My Phone # to automatically transmit your phone number to a pager during a call without manually entering the number.
Answering a Roam Call With Call Guard Enabled
To answer a call when you are roaming and Call Guard is enabled:
Select Answer to answer the call. (See “Call Guard”on page 48 for additional information.)
Note: If your phone is off, incoming calls go to voicemail.
Ending a Call
To disconnect a call when you are finished:
