GETTING STARTED
Sending Messages
To send a voice mail message:
1. Access your mailbox as described on page 25.
2. Press .
3. Dial the desired mailbox number or group list number.
4. Press to accept the subscriber’s name.
5. Record your message after the tone. While recording, you have the following
options:
• Press to pause while recording. Then press any button to continue.
• Press to erase and re-record your message.
6. When finished recording, hang up or press to access the following options:
• Press to send the message and return to the voice mail options.
• Press to replay your message.
• Press to add to your message.
• Press to erase and re-record your message.
• Press to use the special delivery options. You can then use one or more
of the following options:
— Press to mark the message “private.” (This prevents the recipient
from forwarding it to other subscribers.)
— Press to mark the message “certified.” (When the recipient listens
to the message, you will receive a receipt notice.)
— Press to mark the message “priority.” (This will place your mes-
sage ahead of all other waiting messages in the receiving mailbox.)
— Press to cancel delivery options.
— Press to deliver the message. (If you want to mark the message cer-
tified, private, and/or priority, you must do so before completing this
step.) You may choose either of the following options:
• Press and enter another mailbox number to send the message
to another destination.
• Press to exit and return to voice mail options.
7. Hang up.
