any convenient order. fashion, connecting each component to another until all of the linked components have been connected.

When connecting the linked components to form a chain, be careful not to connect the two ends of the chain. Closing the chain to form a loop will cause the AyreLink system not to function.

If there are no AyreLink-equipped source components in your system, the power status of the KX-R preamplifier may also be controlled by a trigger output from a source component. In this case, AyreLink-equipped amplifiers may still be connected to the KX-R. Connect the AyreLink ports of your amplifiers in daisy-chain fashion as described above. The unused AyreLink port on the KX-R preamplifier can then be used as a trigger input. Additional details can be found in the chapter “Optimization and Customization”.

AC Power

The KX-R may be plugged directly into an unswitched wall outlet. Although proprietary RFI (radio-frequency interference) filtering is built into the preamplifier, in some situations an AC power-line filter (such as those offered by Ayre) may provide additional sonic benefits.

TK-8150, TK-7150 specifications

Ayre Acoustics has long been synonymous with precision audio engineering and exceptional sound quality. Among their notable releases, the TK-8150 and TK-7150 integrated amplifiers stand out as epitomes of modern audio technology, offering audiophiles a delightful blend of performance and versatility.

The Ayre TK-8150 is a powerful 150-watt-per-channel integrated amplifier that boasts a wide range of features designed to elevate your listening experience. One of its key technologies is the unique "Ayre Class A" amplification, which ensures that the audio signals remain authentic and uncolored, preserving the integrity of the original recording. This technology minimizes distortion and maximizes dynamic range, whether you’re playing soft classical pieces or more robust rock tracks.

In contrast, the TK-7150 provides 75 watts per channel, making it a perfect option for those seeking a compact yet potent audio solution. Despite its smaller size, the TK-7150 does not compromise on sound quality, integrating the same advanced Class A technology that Ayre is renowned for. Both models come with a high-quality DAC, allowing for seamless digital decoding of high-resolution audio files.

Each amplifier features an extensive array of inputs, accommodating various sources including analog, USB, Coaxial, and Optical connections, ensuring compatibility with modern digital devices while maintaining the warmth and richness of analog sound. The front panel of both units is elegantly designed, featuring easy-to-navigate controls and clear indicators, making them user-friendly while providing a touch of sophistication to any audio setup.

In addition to superb audio performance, both the TK-8150 and TK-7150 are built with superior craftsmanship, employing high-grade components that contribute to their durability and reliability. Ayre Acoustics is committed to a sustainable design philosophy, and both amplifiers reflect this with their low power consumption and reduced environmental impact.

Overall, the Ayre Acoustics TK-8150 and TK-7150 integrated amplifiers cater to both audiophiles and casual listeners alike, combining advanced technology and design to redefine modern audio playback. With their exceptional sound quality, versatile connectivity, and elegant aesthetics, these amplifiers are a worthy investment for anyone serious about high-fidelity audio.
