Automaticviewport detection only works correctly w hen the total pixels and total lines settings in the viewport
menuare more or less correct: Theother settings (Horizontal start, horizontal size, vertical start, vertical size)
depend on these two settings. The software does not allow ’horizon tal start’ + ’horizontal size’ to be larger
than’total pixels’. Thesame goes for the vertical parameters. So in the rare case the input source causes the
wrongfile to be selected, and that file happens to have a m uch too low setting for either of the two values ’total
pixels’or ’total lines’ , the automatic viewport function will not function correctly, because it will be limited to
the range in the ’total pixels’ and ’total lines’ values.
Steps to be taken
1. Select Automatic. (menu 8-14)
2. Press ENTER to activate.
