oThe correct adjustment is obtained when the flame has a length of about 3 – 4 mm.

oFor butane/propane gas, the adjusting screw must be tightly screwed in.

oRefit the control knob.

oMake sure that the flame does not go out by quickly turning from maximum flow to minimum flow. If it does then remove the control knob and make further adjustments to the gas flow, testing it again once the adjustment has been made.

oIMPORTANT: On completion carry out a gas tightness test.

Fitting a stability chain

IMPORTANT: It is a legal requirement for your GASSAFE registered installer to fit a stability chain.

The stability hook should be securely fixed to the fabric of the building, in an adjacent position to the safety chain at the rear of the appliance.
