Securing your Wireless Network

Most Wi-Fi products ship with security turned off. So once you have your network working, you need to activate WEP and make sure all your wireless devices are sharing the same network key.

The card can not acces the network because it uses a different network key that the one configured on the wireless router.

Setting Up your Wireless Router or Access Point to Use Security

To start using security, you need to first enable WEP for your wireless router or access point. For Belkin Wireless Routers and Access Points, these security features can be configured by using the web- based interface. (See your wireless router or access point manual for directions on how to access the management interface.)
