BASE TELEPHONE

		Making and answering calls
		While using the base telephone - when you’re connected
		to the telephone line, the IN USE light flashes; when
		you’re connected on a speakerphone call, the
		SPEAKERPHONE light is also on.
To make a	1		Lift the corded handset or press the
call			SPEAKERPHONE button. Check for Dial tone

handset and	»		Press the SPEAKERPHONE button - the
speakerphone			speakerphone light will turn on, but the call will
			still be through the handset.
			Replace the handset - the call will then transfer
			to the speakerphone.
			While you’re using the speakerphone, to speak
			privately:

»Simply lift the handset
