Chapter 4: Configuration

4.5.3 User Macros

In this menu, you can create macro commands for switching, disconnection, or user administration. The macro commands are created for each user separately.

A macro can execute up to 16 switching commands successively.

You will use hotkeys and the function keys <F1>-<F16> to execute the macros.

NOTE: To execute user macros, the user has to be logged in at the matrix.

You can select between the following settings:

ServSwitch DKM FX and DKM FX Compact, ACXC32, ACXC48, ACXC16 specifications

The Black Box ACXC16, ACXC48, and ACXC32, along with the ServSwitch DKM FX and DKM FX Compact, represent cutting-edge solutions in the realm of digital video and KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) technology for seamless and high-quality content delivery over distances. These devices cater primarily to broadcasters, production studios, and enterprises seeking reliable performance and advanced functionalities.

The Black Box ACXC series, comprising the ACXC16, ACXC48, and ACXC32 models, is designed to handle diverse applications. The numbers designate the capacity, indicating the maximum number of endpoints connected. Their key feature lies in their ability to support high-resolution video formats up to 4K, ensuring clarity and detail that is vital for modern visual presentations. These solutions employ HDBaseT technology for long-distance transmission capabilities, minimizing latency while providing power over a single cable.

The ACXC devices are equipped with features such as digital audio handling, versatile input/output options, and compatibility with various video formats, including HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort. Their modular design offers flexibility; users can customize their systems according to specific requirements, adding or removing modules without interrupting operations.

On the other hand, the ServSwitch DKM FX and DKM FX Compact are robust KVM extenders designed to manage multiple systems efficiently. The DKM FX supports a variety of devices, enabling users to control multiple computers from a single workstation. It features a compact design, superior signal integrity, and the ability to extend KVM signals over fiber, allowing for distances beyond typical limitations.

Both models use advanced compression technologies to maintain high-quality video and audio signals, ensuring optimal performance even at extended ranges. They also support USB connectivity, enabling peripheral sharing and remote access. The DKM FX Compact takes this further, offering streamlined configurations with fewer components and lower power consumption, making it ideal for space-sensitive environments.

In summary, the Black Box ACXC16, ACXC48, ACXC32, ServSwitch DKM FX, and DKM FX Compact highlight the evolution of KVM and video distribution technologies, providing users with powerful, efficient, and scalable solutions. Their integration of high-resolution support, modularity, and advanced transmission methods makes them indispensable tools for professionals in high-demand settings. Whether for creative environments or corporate infrastructures, these devices enhance productivity and maintain superior quality standards.
