Enter Programming Mode

The programming mode lets the installer custom configure the ProMatrix unit. The installer uses the programming buttons on the front panel or the infrared remote controller.

Programming Buttons

1.Press PROG. The LED next to the button lights and the display shows 3 dashes. The unit requires a 3-digit password. The factory default is 0 0 0.

2.Press the NEXT or BACK buttons to increment or decrement the first flashing digit position until “0” appears and then press ENT.

Note: Pressing any button other than NEXT, BACK or ENT will exit the password entry function.

3. Repeat Step 2 for the second and third digits.

Note: There is no way to correct an error when entering the password. If an error is made, simply press PROG or EXIT and then start over.

4.Once the complete password is entered, the display shows the first menu selection – ASSIGNMENT.

5.To program the function shown, press ENT. To select a different func- tion, press the NEXT or BACK buttons to scroll through the list of avail- able functions (The menu tree of available function is shown on the next page).

5.After you have finished programming a function, press EXIT once to return to the function menu. You can use the NEXT or BACK buttons to select functions or you can press EXIT again to return to the user mode.
