Password

This function lets the installer change the program mode password.

1.Enter programming mode and press the NEXT or BACK buttons until PASSWORD appears on the display.

2. Press ENT to enter the function. The display shows the the cur- rent 3-digit password (The default is 0 0 0.) The first numeral will be flashing.

3. Press the NEXT or BACK but- tons to increment the first numer- al from 0 to 9.

4.Press ENT to store the selection.

5.The second numeral flashes. Repeat steps 3 and 4.

6.The third numeral flashes. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the third numeral.

After entering the third numeral, the first numeral will begin to flash again. You can go through the digits as many times as you wish or you can exit this function and save the currently displayed password.

Note: Make sure to press ENT for each changed digit before exiting otherwise the original digit will remain, resulting in a password different from the one planned.

Note: If you forget the password, enter the number 4 5 7 for the password. This will send you directly to the password setting function. You can then change the password or simply read it to refresh your memory. When you exit this function, you auto- matically return to the user mode. Do not use 4 5 7 as a pass- word since you will not be given access to the rest of the menu features when using this number.
