Conectar los altavoces

Escoger el cable adecuado ADVERTENCIA: antes de efectuar las conexiones, apagar el receptor o amplificador y desenchufarlo del tomacorrientes de alimentación de CA. No hacerlo podría dañar el sistema.

Utilizar el cable correctamente ADVERTENCIA: no usar nunca cables rotos o gastados, ya que pueden producirse daños a los componentes.

Manual background Nota: antes de perforar suelos o paredes, verificar las normas del edificio y las normas de seguridad. Para ello conviene consultar a un electricista.

Si el canal central del receptor no está amplificado, conectar el receptor a un amplificador. Conectar con cable tipo RCA las salidas de RCA del receptor a las entradas de RCA del amplificador. El altavoz se conecta entonces directamente al amplificador y no al receptor.

Escoger el cable adecuado

Es importante usar cable del espesor debido. Normalmente sirve el cable estándar de 2 conductores, calibre 18 ó 0,75 mm2,

que puede adquirirse en la mayoría de las tiendas de electro- domésticos y ferreterías. Para colocar los altavoces a más de 9 m del receptor o amplificador, ver la tabla a continuación, o consultar con un concesionario de Bose autorizado.

Pelar unos 12 mm del extremo de cada cable. Retorcer los extremos pelados de cada alambre de modo que las hebras sueltas no toquen los terminales.

Utilizar el cable correctamente

El cable consta de dos alambres aislados. Uno de ellos está marcado (rayado). Este alambre es siempre positivo (+). El otro es siempre negativo (–). Corresponden a los terminales rojo (+) y negro (–) de los altavoces y el amplificador o receptor.
