Si un componente no responde a las órdenes del control remoto del sistema LIFESTYLE®, es posible que no reciba las señales de infrarrojos. Mueva un poco el componente o el centro multimedia para comprobar si mejora la respuesta.

Si el problema persiste, conecte el emisor el emisor de infrarrojos suministrado para establecer una respuesta sólida mientras configura el control remoto LIFESTYLE® para controlar este componente. Es posible que posteriormente no necesite utilizar el emisor. Si es necesario, también puede mantenerlo conectado para utilizarlo con un componente.

Para conectar el emisor de infrarrojos:

1.Inserte la clavija en el conector IR Emitter del panel de conexión del centro multimedia (Figura 20).

2.Sitúe el otro extremo del cable cerca del componente con la superficie redondeada del emisor mirando al componente.

3.Ponga en marcha el componente para comprobar si responde a las órdenes del control remoto. Mueva el emisor si es necesario para buscar la mejor posición.

4.Utilice la cinta de doble cara que acompaña al emisor para fijarlo en la posición correcta cerca del componente.

Nota: Si desea adquirir un emisor de infrarrojos adicional para utilizarlo con un máximo de tres componentes o para sustituir el emisor suministrado, póngase en contacto con el Servicio de atención al cliente de Bose®. Consulte la lista de direcciones incluida con el sistema.

Uso de un extensor de antena para el control remoto

Si el sistema no responde a las órdenes del control remoto y sabe que las pilas del control remoto están cargadas, quizá necesite añadir un extensor de antena para que éste pueda funcionar dentro de su rango especificado. Si desea ponerse en contacto con Bose para adquirir un extensor, consulte la lista de direcciones incluida con el sistema.
