keep clear of the area in which the lift operates and clear of all moving parts. Lift attendants must ensure that lift occupants
(passengers) keep hands, arms and all other body parts within the lift occupant area and clear of moving parts.
Lift Control Switches

) appear on the lift operating instructions decal. The color of the symbol corresponds to the color of the corresponding switch. The direc- tion (point) of the symbol corresponds with the direction the switch should be activated (pressed) to produce the intended lift function.
