Handrails: Dual handrails are provided for wheelchair passen- ger (or standee) use (standard on L211UARS lift models). Passen- gers should grip both handrails when on the lift platform if able.

Lift Passengers
If you are an attendant operating the lift, it is your responsibility to perform safe loading and unload- ing procedures. Wheelchair lift attendants should be instructed on any special needs and/or procedures required for safe
transport of wheelchair passengers.
The lift operator and bystanders must keep clear of the area in which the lift operates. Observe your passenger at all times during lift operation.
Do not attempt to load or unload a passenger in a wheelchair or other apparatus that does not fit on the platform area. Do not exceed the 800 pound load capacity of the lift. The lift atten- dant should not ride on the platform with the passenger.
