Protección contra los fallos de conexión a tierra

La unidad está equipada con un interruptor de circuito de fallo de conexión a tierra (GFCI). Este dispositivo cumple la normativa federal, nacional y local vigente.

Compruebe su disyuntor GFCI

Compruebe el disyuntor GFCI (véase “Controles y características del panel de control”) cada mes, como se indica a continuación:

1.Mientras el generador está en marcha y la tapa del panel de control abierta, presione el botón blanco “Test”. El disyuntor debe saltar (el mango se moverá hacia una posición aproximadamente central), evitando así que los enchufes reciban corriente.

¡PRECAUCIÓN!

Si el disyuntor no salta:

•NO use el generador.

•Póngase en contacto con un centro de servicio técnico de Briggs & Stratton Power Products.

2.Si el mango se mueve hacia el centro, reposicionar moviendo firmemente hacia la posición “Off” (izquierda), y después a la posición “On” (derecha).

¡PRECAUCIÓN!

Si el disyuntor no se reposiciona correctamente:

•NO use el generador.

•Póngase en contacto con un centro de servicio técnico de Briggs & Stratton Power Products.

Durante el uso del generador

Si el disyuntor salta durante el uso, normalmente se debe a la presencia de cables o equipamiento defectuoso. Aun así, compruebe el disyuntor como se indica a continuación:

1.Abrir la tapa del panel de control, desconectar las cargas, reposicionar y comprobar el disyuntor tal como se describe arriba. Deje funcionar el generador sin cargas durante 1 minuto.

¡PRECAUCIÓN!

Si el disyuntor salta en el periodo de 1 minuto:

•NO use el generador.

•Póngase en contacto con un centro de servicio técnico de Briggs & Stratton Power Products.

2.Si el disyuntor pasa la comprobación, el equipamiento eléctrico o alargadores podrían estar defectuosos. Cambie el equipamiento eléctrico y cables defectuosos antes de continuar el uso.

¡PRECAUCIÓN!

Si el disyuntor pasa la comprobación:

•Haga que un técnico cualificado compruebe todo el equipamiento eléctrico y el cableado por si hubiera defectos.

•Sustituya el equipamiento eléctrico y el cableado o llévelo a un centro de reparaciones cualificado.
