Printing a reduced incoming fax (Auto Reduction)
If you choose Reduction:On, the machine automatically reduces
an incoming fax to fit on one page of A4, letter or legal size paper.
The machine calculates th e reduction ratio by using t he page size of
the document and your Paper Size setting (Menu/Set, 1, 3).

If it is not illuminated in green, press (Fax).

Press Menu/Set, 2, 1, 5.

Use ▲ or ▼ to select On (or Off).
Press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Receiving a fax at the end of a conversation
At the end of a conversation you can ask the other party to fax you
information before you both hang up.

Ask the other party to plac e the document in their machin e and
to press Start or Send key.

When you hear the other m achine’s CNG tones (beeps) , press
Mono Start or Colour Start.

If you picked up the handset, re place it.
■Turn on this setting i f you receive faxes that are split on two
pages. However, if the docum ent is too long, the machine
may print it on two pages.
■If left and right margins are cut off, turn on this setting.
