If you have a Pulse dialling service, but need to send Tone signa ls

(for example, for tel ephone banking), fol low the instruction s below. If

you have Touch Tone service, you will not need this feature to send

tone signals.

For FAX-1840C, lift the handset.

For MFC-3240C, lift the handset of the external telephone.

Press # on the machine’s control panel. Any digi ts dialled after

this will send tone signals.

When you hang up, the machine will return to the Pulse dialling

service.
