Using the PS driver with your Apple® Macintosh® (MFC-7225N and MFC-7820N only)Note
■To use the PS driver on a Network, see the Network User’s Guide on CD-ROM.
■To use the PS driver with a USB cable, you need to set the Emulation to BR-Script 3 by using the
control panel before con necting the USB cable . (See Popular Printer Emulation Support (MFC-7225N and
MFC-7820N only) on page 1-4.)
■The PS driver does not suppo rt the following functions:
• HQ 1200
• PC-Fax Sending
For Mac OS® X users
You need to install the PS dr iver using the following instruc tions.
Note
■If you use a USB cable and your Macintosh® is “Mac OS® X”, only one printer driver for a machine can be
registered in Print Center.
■If a Brother Native Driver (MFC-XXXX) is already listed in Printer list, you will need to delete it and then
install the PS driver.
1Select Applications from the Go menu.
2Open the Utilities folder.
