To register a handset to a different make of base station

The base must be GAP compatible.

At the handset:

The display will show BASE 1–4. The numbers that are flashing indicate the other bases that the handset is registered to.

Enter the base number (1-4) that you want to register the handset to.

Enter your 4-digit PIN (original

The display will show Base search 1, 2, 3, 4 and the symbol will flash as the handset tries to locate the base. When the handset locates the base, the handset will be automatically selected and shown on the display.

(If the handset does not locate the base, the handset will return to the previous menu.

Try to register again by using a different base number. Ensure that you are close to the base.)
