USING YOUR PHONE

To enter a pause in a stored number

You may want to enter a pause when storing international numbers, Charge card numbers or if you connect your telephone to a switchboard. (For more information on switchboard use see page 32.)

Redial

When storing the number,

 

press and hold the UP button,

 

until a P is displayed, at the

 

point where you want to enter

 

the Pause.

You may enter as many pauses as required.

To dial a number from the

Phonebook

Press the PHONEBOOK button to enter the phonebook.

Volume

Use the UP or DOWN button

to find the entry you want.

Or

 

To search alphabetically, press

 

the relevant keypad number,

e.g. to find TOM, press the 8

button and scroll through the

 

 

entries under T.

 

Press the GREEN PHONE

 

button to dial the number of the

 

name displayed. The number

 

is dialled automatically.

To edit Phonebook names and numbers
