Quando você se encontrar nesse modo, pressione o botão POWER para ligar a unidade. Em seguida, alinhe o retículo do círculo de pontaria com a bandeira cuja distância você deseja medir. Após, pressione e mantenha o botão POWER pressionado e mova o laser lentamente sobre a bandeira ou o objeto desejado até que um círculo fique em volta do indicador de bandeira. Se o feixe de laser tiver reconhecido mais de um objeto (como por exemplo a bandeira e árvores ao fundo), será exibida a distância da bandeira e um círculo ficará em volta do indicador informando ao usuário que a distância até a bandeira (ou seja, o objeto mais próximo) está sendo exibida no LCD (como indicado abaixo). Há situações em que o feixe de laser identifica apenas um objeto em sua trajetória. Nesse caso a distância será exibida, mas como não foi obtida a distância de mais de um objeto o círculo não ficará em volta do indicador da bandeira.

DICA: Ao pressionar o botão POWER, pode-se movimentar lentamente o dispositivo de um objeto a outro e intencionalmente forçar o laser para que atinja objetos múltiplos assegurando que apenas aquele mais próximo seja reconhecido por ele.

Depois que o dispositivo desligar, a unidade sempre retornará ao último modo usado.
