WHILE THE CAMCORDER IS CONNECTED TO A PC DO NOT DISCONNECT THE USB CABLE OR POWER SOURCE CANNOT TURN OFF POWER OR CHANGE MODES

-When the camcorder is in mode and is connected to the computer with a USB cable, the camcorder cannot be operated. Disconnecting the USB cable or power source while this message appears may result in permanent loss of the recordings in the camcorder. Use the computer's Safely Remove Hardware function to end the connection and disconnect the USB cable before using the camcorder.

Messages Related to the Optional DW-100 DVD Burner

If an error message appears while the camcorder is connected to the optional DW-100 DVD Burner, refer to the following section and also to the instruction manual of the DVD Burner.

CLOSE THE MEMORY CARD SLOT COVER

- The memory card slot cover is open. Close the cover after correctly inserting the memory card ( 30).

CONNECT THE C MPACT P WER ADAPTER

- The camcorder is being powered by the battery pack. Connect the compact power adapter to the camcorder.

DISC ACCESS FAILURE CHECK THE DISC

- There was an error when reading the disc or attempting to write onto it. DISC- This message can appear also if condensation has formed. Wait until the DVD burner dries completely before

resuming use.

- The disc may not be loaded correctly. Try removing the disc and reinserting it.

ERROR READING THE DATA

- Error while reading the recordings from the camcorder.

-You selected to create a DVD with the [REM.SCENES] setting, but all the scenes have already been added to discs created in the past; there are no applicable scenes.
