■Windows 2000 Add Printer Wizard

To install CAPT on a local computer using Windows 2000, you can use the Add Printer Wizard.

The following is the installation procedure using a parallel port, under Windows 2000.

1Log on as a member of Administrators. The full control access right for the printer is necessary for installation of CAPT.

2From the Start menu, select Settings  Printers. The Printers folder appears.

3Double-click the Add Printer icon. The Add Printer Wizard dialog box appears. Click Next.

4Select Local printer  click Next.

Checking “Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer” is not recommended.
