You can shoot an object at a close distance or even shoot extreme close- ups of it. The possible shooting range is approximately 2 – 50 cm (0.8 in. –

1.6ft.) from the end of the lens when the zoom lever is moved to the maximum wide angle, and approximately 30 – 50 cm (12 in. – 1.6 ft.) when the zoom lever is moved to the maximum telephoto side.

Press the q button.

Select e.

Press the qr buttons or turn the  dial to select e, then press the m button. e will appear on the screen.

To restore to the original setting, select

Using Î

You are recommended to attach the camera to a tripod and shoot in Î, to prevent the camera from moving and blurring the image (p. 76).

The edges of the image may darken if the flash fires.
