Microphone AttenuatorUse the microphone attenuator if you need to lower the volume level or correct audio
distortion during recording or audio dubbing. Check the audio level with headphones.

Open the menu and select [AUDIO SETUP]. Select [MIC ATT], set it to [ON] and close the menu.
Using Headphones during RecordingThe headphones terminal also serves as AV terminal. Headphones can only be used when “H” is displayed on the screen. If not, change the setting following the
procedure below.

Open the menu and select [AUDIO SETUP]. Select [ H VOLUME], adjust the volume with the SET dial and close the menu.
You can turn off the volume completely by turning the SET dial down until [OFF] appears.
Turn the SET dial up to increase the volume again.
